Girls Programming Coordinator

This position is responsible for the management of YWCA Mankato girls programs.  In addition, this position will also support other programming mission areas of the YWCA Mankato as needed.  This position reports to the Executive Director.

New American Families Parent Educator - Somali Speaking

The New American Families program provides Parents as Teachers (PAT) home visiting services for immigrant and refugee families who are pregnant and/or have child(ren) up to 5 years of age in the Mankato area. A certified Parent Educator implements the PAT model, emphasizing parent-child interaction, development-centered parentng, and family well-being in their work with families. Utilizing the PAT Foundational Curriculum in culturally sensitive ways, the parent educator partners, facilitates, and reflects with families. This position requires critical thinking utilizing a social justice lens in ways that align with the YWCA’s mission, vision, and values.
