The Executive Director is responsible for developing and managing the wide range of programs and services provided by YWCA Mankato and sets the tone of the organization, creating and sustaining an environment conducive to unity around the mission and strategic direction. The Executive Director will be a caring and dynamic leader with demonstrated abilities for strong organizational development and team building skills. The right candidate must have the ability to plan, develop/solicit and manage financial resources and organization obligations while maintaining thorough knowledge of related trends, development issues, and sector effectiveness. This person will be the association’s primary spokesperson to the community, regional and national YWCAs, and significant donors.

Program Manager - New American Families
The Program Manager of New American Families is responsible for the oversight and implementation of YWCA Mankato’s New American Families evidence-based home visiting service. The program manager supervises, directs, and coordinates all activities related to New American Families (NAF). The position plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing the program and ensures the program’s activities meet specified objectives. As a supervisor, the program manager’s responsibilities include managing, coordinating, supporting, and evaluating the on-the-job performance of parent educators. The program manager will report program activities and performance to the Director of Programs. This position is fulltime, year-round, and non-exempt from overtime. This position requires critical thinking through the lens of race and gender and intersections with poverty, and is responsible for upholding YWCA Mankato’s ideals, supporting our work, and representing YWCA Mankato and its mission in a manner consistent with our values.
