Inspiring girls to move forward in their lives and futures by using their own power and strength, just as they move forward when cycling.

GEARS is for 6th – 8th grade girls. Participants will be introduced to all types of cycling, and will learn technical riding skills, mechanical skills for bike maintenance, safety, and problem solving skills. Woven into the camp are empowering and motivating activities to build self-esteem and develop a strong sense of team, where every girl counts.

EMPOWERING OUR GIRLS.

Empowerment comes from perseverance, conquering challenges, believing in yourself and your skills, setting attainable goals, breaking past expectations, expansion of freedom of choice and action, and through feeling inspired by positive, supportive mentors. Bikes are the vehicle that translate and encourage girls empowerment through all those things.

This program is designed for girls of all riding abilities. Coaches will adapt to the needs of the girls and challenge them at their level.

GEARS is not affiliated with Girls on the Run.
