The YWCA is a valuable community resource.  In 2007 the YWCA provided the following services:

           

Walking In Two Worlds:  

Community Integration Services to Immigrant Women

             Assisting 72 immigrant women and over 260 children adjust to a new country and

             culture.

Women of Distinction

             Recognizing the leadership of over 100 women in the Greater Mankato Community.

The Elizabeth Kearney Women’s Leadership Development Program

             Growing the capacity, leadership skills and contributions of women in the community.

Girls on the Run

New program for girls in 3rd though 8th grades to build character and self-esteem though learning and physical activity.

Human Race Radio

In partnership with KMSU, tells the stories and shares the voices of a diverse community.
