INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The YWCA offers exciting internship opportunities throughout the year. It is a place for people of all ages to develop job skills and build their resumes.  Interns are important to the work of the YWCA Mankato, and we want to ensure the experience is successful for both the intern and the organization.  Internships are uniquely designed to meet the interest of the individual within the mission of the YWCA.  Cooperation with academic supervisors is the key to a successful experience.  This team approach assures that the student will meet course criteria, and thus earn academic credits.

Students from many disciplines obtain valuable experience in a supportive setting.  Past interns and volunteers include majors in Nonprofit Leadership, Child and Family Studies, Leadership and Policy Studies, International Studies, Journalism, Marketing and Finance. Internships at this time are unpaid.
