surge

SURGE!™ is a leadership program for High School girls. It has been developed by Fusion Life & Leadership, LLC. The curriculum has been adapted from a proven adult executive leadership curriculum. It is designed to help girls understand their own ability to control their future through their strengths, positive thinking, goal-setting and planning.

Throughout this 13 week program, the girls participate in journaling, discussions and experiential activities that focus on leadership, clear communication, cooperation and vision.

Mission

Inspiring girls to Show Up. Step Up. Stand Out!

The Vision.

The SURGE Leadership Program is an intensive leadership development program designed to help teenage girls unlock their inner-awesomeness. Participants leave our program ready to be business owners, professionals, or whatever they want to become. Girls discover that they have all the power within that they need to achieve whatever it is that they desire in life/career.

WHAT THE GIRLS ARE SAYING.

It helps me be myself and be more confident.

This has impacted my whole family.

[I talk about it at home] and it has changed my family.

I like it that we all care about the community and are trying to give back.

We get to do stuff that helps other people.

So what does SURGE do?

SURGE consists of 13 sessions that are offered in one hour increments during the school day onsite at four area schools. SURGE curriculum topics include: Self-Awareness, Personal Power & Individuality, Leadership, Community Service, Goal Setting, Stress Management, Core Values & Personal Vision, Compassion, Judgment & Acceptance, Resilience & Problem Solving, Gratitude & Possibilities, Increasing Potential and Review & Program Input.
