Until Justice Just Is:  Are you up for the challenge?

2023 Challenge Over, Stay Tuned for 2024

Over 160 years ago, we set out to eliminate racism, empower women, and create a more just world. And we’ll stay on the front lines of the issues that matter for as long as it takes—until justice just is. The real change happens every day in our communities—especially when people like you commit to act.

This year, Until Justice Just Is centers around the theme Advancing Justice: Ensuring Equity for All.

The deep-seated systemic racism and inequities that disadvantage communities of color are still woven into the fabric of our institutions today—from disability rights, mental health care, housing access, and even the way music can affect activism and stereotypes. We must work collectively to root out inequity in our communities and in the institutions that compose our society and demand justice and equity.

That’s why YWCA Mankato, along with YWCA affiliates across the United States, will provide the opportunity to dedicate 21 days to the pursuit of racial justice. This year’s theme merges four focus areas that will guide and inform our racial equity work. These focus areas include disability, housing, music, and mental health. Assignments and discussion topics were hand-selected and curated by YWCA USA.

Music   |   Disability   |   Mental Health   |   Housing

When you sign up for the Until Justice Just Is challenge, you will start receiving daily emails with assignments related to the topics on Monday, April 17th.  You will also receive access to a private Facebook group in which to discuss the topics of the day.
